The Count has played shows all his life. He started at age 6 playing piano recitals. Then there were years of dance and school band shows. In high school, he played drums with a future gospel Grammy winner for school benefits and dances. With predictable consequences, the rock shows started some time in the 70’s. Settling in the rhythm section the Count watched every show from the best seat in the house. He was always pushing his bands to perform not just play. He wanted to see more movement on stage and developed a unique over-the-top stick technique that's part dance, part bombast. With the Horrible Demo, the Count has stepped out from behind the drums to kick the television gazers everywhere in the ass. Man, that must hurt. The difference between Count Beat and a madman is the Count plays drums.
